Return to the Alternative - Gird Up Your Mind and Be Sober
In this moving sermon, Tozer urges us, along with the
Apostle Peter, to “Gird up the loins of your mind” with righteousness,
faithfulness and truth. Are you girded
up and ready to follow Christ? Are you
wasting the life God gave you?
Tozer also urges us to “Be sober,” and never let our
emotions get out of control. He also
tells us to hope in Christ saying, “A Christian is not a dreamer wishing for
something; he is a realist who knows what he has and what is coming and he’s
looking forward with expectation.”
