The DSEA, which has been in existence for over thirty years, has seen literally hundreds of thousands of people coming to know Christ through the evangelistic ministry of David and his wife, Amy.

The mission of DSEA is “to fulfill the Great Commission by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ internationally, and by assisting local leaders in equipping believers for effective ministry.”

They fulfill this mission in several different ways:
*David Stockwell speaks out –assemblies and youth rallies
*City Celebrations –citywide evangelistic events
*NEST Program – development and training of national evangelists
*Training Conferences – Field Evangelism and pastor training
*Matching Funds Bible Campaign – Bible and discipleship distribution

All of these programs have touched and changed thousands of lives. The NEST (National Evangelist Support Team) program is one of the most inspiring and effective aspects of the DSEA ministry.

“Through the NEST program, DSEA trains people who are gifted and called into evangelism, and helps equip them for full-time ministry by providing practical training in field evangelism.”  David, along with the help of other team leaders, devote their time through discipleship, training, and mentoring those who have the heart and desire to become evangelists and spread the Gospel of Christ around the world.

“Training Conferences offer additional support, equipping NEST evangelists with a solid foundation in the Word of God on such issues as A Passion For Souls, Spiritual Warfare, Brokenness, The Work of the Evangelist, and The Pastor’s Heart. NEST evangelists minister alongside the DSEA team in their countries as often as possible, and report each month on their evangelistic activities to the DSEA office in Texas.” NEST evangelists are then put in charge of set-up, discipleship, administrating, and follow-up that is required for the DSEA international ministry.

Stockwell has prayed for God to put in him contact with Godly men who felt the call of full-time evangelism. These prayers have brought over fifty men in countries across the world, who are being trained through the NEST program and who are clearly reaching tens of thousands of people for Christ. The NEST program includes pastors and evangelists from countries in Africa such as Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Uganda, and Kenya. They are also located in Mexico, and The Philippines. They have been able to train many others in Brazil, Bangladesh, India, Ukraine, Romania, England, Nicaragua, and Guatemala. These evangelists receive a small financial gift through DSEA, which helps them with their travel and ministry expenses, as well as the care of their families and home life.

The NEST program also provides various equipment that the evangelists need, such as microphones, cords, DVD’s, VHS, CD’s, transportation, battery-powered operating systems, Bible and discipleship material, and videos, books, and tapes for their training and development.
