Duncan explains that the “Fire of the Lord” is the Holy Spirit.  Duncan says, “If Pentecost is the living link between the eternal purposes of God and the world that must inevitably perish; surely our supreme need is a Pentecostal dissertation.  A moving of God in the place of miracles.”
