Sammy Tippit concluded his first Praying for Your Family seminar in the United States this past weekend. The seminar was held at Nappanee Missionary Church in Nappanee, Indiana. Although Tippit has spoken on the subject of Praying for Your Family in the U.S. this year, it was the first time to lead a church through an entire seminar.

More than 300 Christians participated in the seminar in which Tippit taught the PFYF materials in five sessions. Two sessions took place on Friday night and three sessions were held on Saturday morning. God touched many hearts as a spirit of revival permeated the meetings.

Tippit said, “I am super excited about this first seminar. Nappanee Missionary Church did an outstanding job in hosting the meetings. The physical set up and all the preparations were done with excellence. God’s presence was felt in all of the meetings. I really feel that many families were helped as a result of the seminar.That sentiment seemed to be the feelings of many of those who participated in the seminar. Scores of people reported the blessings of God in their lives as a result of the seminar.

Participants who came from the Chicago area expressed a desire to have the seminar come to the Chicago area.There were several opportunities for people to pray with others about their family needs during the seminar. At the close of the session on Praying for Your Children, approximately two thirds of the audience stood asking for prayer for wayward children and grandchildren. Many participants committed themselves to setting aside a time to seek God for their families.

After the session on Praying with a forgiven and forgiving heart, several people shared with friends that they needed to go to family members and ask forgiveness.Sammy Tippit Ministries plans to conduct six of these seminars annually throughout the United States and Canada in the coming years.
