Sammy Tippit’s book, workbook, and video series, Praying For Your Family continues to gain momentum throughout all parts of the United States, as well as other nations.  Praying For Your Family is a multi-faceted series that teaches, encourages, and inspires families to come back together through prayer, forgiveness, tearing down spiritual strongholds, and love.

Tippit has traveled all over the world preaching this message of uniting families under God.  His last trip before his recent prostate cancer surgery was to Ontario, Canada.  Sammy Tippit Ministries and The Faith Mission of Canada partnered together to launch this strategic series.  The Faith Mission of Canada is an evangelically minded Christian organization that was begun Ireland and expanded into other countries. Part of their mission is to reach churches through the message of revival and evangelistic outreaches.

John Bennett, the director of The Faith Mission in Canada, said this about the launch of the Praying For Your Family series in Canada, “God has moved greatly in these meetings.  Lives have been changed and we believe that families will be vastly impacted in the future.”

The meetings were held in a large tent on the Faith Mission property. People from all over Canada flocked to hear the message on how to impact their family member’s lives.  Numerous Canadian pastors and Christian leaders attended.  There were a large number of people that made life-changing commitments.

“There were many people who committed to pray for their family.  Many experienced forgiveness, and as a result, released bitterness towards family members,” said Tippit.  “The Lord did a deep work in many people’s lives and we are excited to be able to challenge people with this message.”

One such testimony was from a lady who had heard Tippit speak previously about the necessity of praying for your family.  She began to pray for her son, whom eventually gave his life to Christ.  God also did a mighty work through her and her husband’s lives and relationship as they began to pray for one another.

One pastor gave his testimony of how God set him free from the bitterness he had held in his heart.  He expressed how God released him from that bitterness because of the change he was making after hearing the Praying For Your Family messages. The conference was the last trip that Tippit took before his prostate surgery.

Please pray that God will continue to bless this series as it has already impacted numerous people’s lives.  Churches are continuing to order it.  Bible study groups are popping up all over the nation with ones who want to go through the study.
