Tippit Returns to Louisiana Roots

Sammy Tippit is spending this week preaching the gospel and returning
to his Louisiana roots. The Texas based evangelist was invited by the
Kingsville Baptist Church in Pineville, Louisiana
to conduct a series of evangelistic meetings. The meetings began on
Sunday morning and will continue through Wednesday evening.
The large congregation was filled on Sunday morning and a number of
those in attendance gave their hearts to Christ. God worked deeply in
the hearts of families on Sunday evening as Tippit preached about hope
for the family.
The church is planning activities throughout the week to reach out to
people with the message of the gospel. A dinner is planned for Monday
evening in which people will invite their friends. There will be a
special service for children on Tuesday evening and a special meeting
on Wednesday evening for young people.
Sammy and Tex Tippit will travel to Angleton, Texas on Tuesday
evening while Ray Jones will minister that evening. Jones also lives in
San Antonio, Texas and leads worship at the Community Bible Church. He
and his wife Andrea and their children are leading the worship for the
meetings in Louisiana.
Tippit will preach at
Louisiana College on Thursday morning before traveling to Nachitoches,
Louisiana for a conference there. Sammy Tippit Ministries asks our
friends to pray for Tippit during these meetings. He will be leaving
for extensive ministry in the Middle East after returning from
Louisiana.
