Chapter 3 - Worthy of Worship (Where God Can Be Found)
Jesus is not one of the group of the world's great. Talk about
Alexander the Great and Charles the Great and Napoleon the Great if you
will... Jesus is apart. He is not the Great. He is the Only. He is

There's is a fourth signpost that reveals our need to return to our
first love. It's the reverse of the previous one. It is orthodoxy
without devotion. Many churches are filled with people who believe the
right things about God but have lost their devotion to God.
The final signpost that points a Christian toward his need for revival
is a lack of holiness in the life. The men and women of the Bible who
became genuine worshipers of God were those who encountered the
holiness of God.
A third signpost pointing us toward our need of revival is our seeking
after an aesthetic, spiritual experience rather than after a holy life.
Nothing is wrong with having a deeply emotional experience of worship.
But seeking after a praise- induced experience of worship so one can
have a superficial "feeling" of peace is not true worship.
