I would like thank you for your web page. I met you at the airport when Erika was on her way out to India.
I am a good friend of Erika and Bethany, whom I love very much. You
gave my husband and I your card and told us we could log on for updates
about AFC journey in India.
Today,
while visiting a patient, she mentioned your name. The whole story was
because somehow the subject of the book "A Church with Purposes" came
around and the patient had a lot of restrictions to it. She said that
the church grows by the gospel that is preached and not because the
1,256 different activities offered for the public to feel nice. And
then she went ahead and gave an example of a preacher that she just
loved to hear, listening over and over again to his taped messages. His
name: Sammy Tippit. She added, he is not very known in USA,
unfortunately. Then she asked whether I knew you. You can imagine the
rest. I gave her the www page of your ministry, and she was so happy to
know that throughout the world the pure gospel is still preached.
Congratulations preacher, keep on doing the good work, even though
against the main stream. You will always find someone interested on the
word and adoration and not on the activities that, anyway, should only
be a consequence.
God bless you, pastor.
Wow! I
thank you so much for the encouraging and uplifting letters you send
me! The last one felt like God telling me himself that I shouldn't
worry about my upcoming college years.
I came to Vizag along with Bro. Samuel from Ireland.
I have been to many conferences and revival meetings, but I have never
heard such powerful 100 percent, undiluted gospel, straight from the
heart of God. Thank you very much. God has used you mightily at Vizag.
I wish I had the audio tapes of your messages, particularly the last
day.
I
just wanted to tell you that your devotionals on victorious living and
prayer are incredible. The information on prayer is exactly what I
needed to jumpstart my relationship with God. I felt my prayer life was
faltering and was in need of a great big jumpstart. Last week, I found
myself typing the words bible and prayer into an internet search engine
(altavista.com). Yours was the first link that came up, so I followed
it. Thank you for putting your message on the internet! I really
appreciate your ministry, and I will absolutely be praying for you. I
would like to help by making a monthly donation to your ministry. How
should I go about doing so?
I
was scanning my Christianity Today magazine and saw an advertisement of
gospelcom.net. I'm so glad I did. Praise the Lord! This is an awesome
site. The Lord spoke to me one night after I read E.M. Bounds on prayer
and said "PRAY WITHOUT CEASING!" Amen! And I've been praying ever since.

I Was in Cairo
I was in Cairo
for a month following my son's surgery there this past fall, and I was
invited to go to an evangelical church to hear a preacher from Texas.
I had never heard of him before, but two college-aged young ladies and
I went to hear him with the hope that the gospel message would be
clearly presented. Praise the Lord, it was! I found out late last
night, while listening to a radio program, who the preacher was: Sammy
Tippit....and, more importantly for me, I heard about some of the
results from the crusade over there. God bless you!
I
was really thrilled to read your testimony. And, feeling what a sinner
I am -- having half faith in Jesus and half in this world -- I now rest
all burdens on my loving Jesus, and it will be a total changed life for
me. Praise the Lord.

Praying for the Work!
Sammy came to Troutdale, Oregon
on Jan. 27-29. We will be praying for not only Sammy but for all the
men and women that are doing such wonderful work for God and mankind. I
will never forget his visit with us; he has made my faith so much
stronger.
THANK YOU, SAMMY

Praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord! Your message's timing is evidence to me God is moving in Pakistan and India in a big way. I just met a man on the Metro who has several businesses in Pakistan and India
and has a heart for addressing the needs of the poor in his community
and improving their access to the web-based educational resources we
have in this country, including Christian education resources. My
prayers are with your team's efforts in Pakistan and India.
