Sammy Tippit told his fiancée, “I can’t promise we’ll be rich, but life won’t be boring.”
Sammy had no idea what an understatement that would become. Beginning in the bars of Baton Rouge and the nightclubs of Chicago, Tippit has shared the news of life-changing faith in Christ all over the world – including in the middle of a revolution in Romania, the aftermath of genocide in Rwanda, and war in Burundi and the Congo.
Sammy’s lifelong adventure has come at a great price. He’s been cursed, threatened, arrested, deported, and blacklisted. He’s also been personally broken, ravaged with illness, and devastated by grief.
Yet he continues to preach to in stadiums, in open fields, and via satellite technology to hundreds of thousands around the globe.
"Imagine spending every day of your life influencing the culture and changing the atmosphere with prayer and the gospel! Sammy Tippit’s message of innovation breaks us out of isolation and into daily participation in disciple multiplication and revival preparation all over the world.”
"Throughout the history of revival, God has used technological advances to help communicate the message of hope in powerful ways. Faithfully seeking the Lord in each epoch and following His leadership, the strategic use of new technology has resulted in ‘unprecedented spiritual harvest’ for the Kingdom. Sammy Tippit highlights ‘the biblical and historical connection between innovation and revival,’ and the wisdom of prayerfully considering today’s technology for the awakening of nations and the fulfillment of the Great Commission. Sammy’s mission, vision, and example inspire the reader to be a ‘biblical dreamer’ with the Lord so that today’s Christian can do greater works.”
“Sammy is a true pioneer in using current technology to advance the gospel in our modern era. He’s learned it, applied it to reach literally millions of people for Christ, and now he is sharing with others how to do it. That’s a true pioneer and disciple of Christ. I strongly recommend this book to everyone who wants to be used of God to reach our world for Christ. It’s biblical, simple, and practical.”
