DAILY VIDEO DEVOTIONAL
“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding, no one can fathom.” (Isaiah 40:28)
God is a great and mighty God. He created everything that exists and everything that ever will exist. He is the Creator. Nothing has or will ever come into existence without Him. But He’s not only a powerful God, He’s a good God. In fact, He’s perfect in His goodness. At His creation of the universe, the Bible says, “God saw all that He had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning — the sixth day” (Genesis 1:31). All of His creation was good, because the Creator is good.
But what does this have to do with your personal walk of victory? Everything. When you understand that everything God created is good, you’ll realize that when He created you, He also said, “It is good.” The psalmist said, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well” (Psalm 139:14). Ethel Waters, a great old-time gospel singer, used to say, “God don’t make no junk.” How true.
You may feel you’ve been given a raw deal. You may think your life is rotten, and there’s no hope for you. Your heart may cry out, “I could be victorious if only I had different parents; if only my circumstances were better; if only… if only… if only…” It may be true that you face extremely difficult circumstances. But it’s God who is the Creator. He has made you. And He didn’t make a mistake. In fact, it’s often the people with the most difficult circumstances who make the greatest impact on society.
The man who led me to Christ was born into a very difficult situation. His mother gave him away when he was just a few weeks old. Then he was passed from family to family. But that didn’t change the fact that he was God’s creation — and that he was “fearfully and wonderfully made.” He eventually ended up in the home of a godly pastor who showed him in practical ways that God loved him and had a wonderful plan for his life. As he came to know and understand this good God who creates only what is good, he found purpose and meaning.
That man is the greatest evangelistic preacher I’ve ever heard. The “throw-away child” has been mightily used in the kingdom of God. He was an instrument of God to lead me to Christ, and I’ll be forever grateful. Many thousands of people around the world have come to a knowledge of the Savior because of that man’s influence in my life. Ethel Waters was correct: “God don’t make no junk.”
God is the Creator. That’s His name, because that’s who He is. He’s the God who created everything, and everything He created is good. He created you, and He did a great job. Accept who you are in Christ and allow Him to use you for His glory. You’re unique. You’re His creation. Trust Him, and victory will follow.
Psalm : Chapter 139
13) For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14) I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. 15) My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. 16) Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. 17) How precious to me are your thoughts,[a] God! How vast is the sum of them! 18) Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand— when I awake, I am still with you.

Sammy Tippit told his fiancée, “I can’t promise we’ll be rich, but life won’t be boring.”

Sammy’s lifelong adventure has come at a great price. He’s been cursed, threatened, arrested, deported, and blacklisted. He’s also been personally broken, ravaged with illness, and devastated by grief.
Yet he continues to preach to in stadiums, in open fields, and via satellite technology to hundreds of thousands around the globe. For all other books…
