2 Corinthians : Chapter 5
14)  For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. 15)  And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. 16)  So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. 17)  Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:[a] The old has gone, the new is here! 18)  All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19)  that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20)  We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.

Book of the Month

Sammy Tippit told his fiancée, “I can’t promise we’ll be rich, but life won’t be boring.”
Sammy had no idea what an understatement that would become. Beginning in the bars of Baton Rouge and the nightclubs of Chicago, Tippit has shared the news of life-changing faith in Christ all over the world – including in the middle of a revolution in Romania, the aftermath of genocide in Rwanda, and war in Burundi and the Congo.
Sammy’s lifelong adventure has come at a great price. He’s been cursed, threatened, arrested, deported, and blacklisted. He’s also been personally broken, ravaged with illness, and devastated by grief.
Yet he continues to preach to in stadiums, in open fields, and via satellite technology to hundreds of thousands around the globe.  For all other books…

The Resources of the Evangelist: Human Resources
Welcome to day 4 of revival and evangelism, a study that will renew your heart and give you a passion to reach others for Jesus Christ. Today, we’re going to be talking about the resources that God gives us.
The greatest resource that God has given for revival is His people – the church of Jesus Christ. One of the things that I learned early in my ministry, because I’m an evangelist and I go in and I’m on the platform and I’m speaking and sometimes the multitudes of people .. sometimes in great stadiums. But one thing I learned .. Great evangelist harvests don’t come because of some superstar personality.
Revival – the greatest method of evangelism – is when revival comes. And revival is something that happens in God’s people. So the greatest resource we have is the church .. it’s not a superstar but it’s God’s people and when God works among His people and sends revival to His people, then we’re going to see the great harvests. And so what has to happen is that every one of us need to see that we play a role in revival .. that God wants to use each of us and not only each of us but every single person in the body of Christ.
I remember I was preaching one day .. in my own home church and I was preaching and God blessed and moved and there were many people who made commitments to Christ. And afterwards a man came up to me and I knew the man because he’s my personal mechanic where I bring my car to him and just a great guy – a guy you can trust with integrity to take your car and do the kind of work that supposed to be done on it. And he came to me and he said, the Lord spoke to his heart during the message and this is what God said to him .. and man, it just blessed me. I can’t tell you how greatly I was blessed ..
He said, “Sammy, I was sitting there listening to you and I was thinking, Lord, I want to be used of you but I can’t preach like Sammy .. I can’t speak like Sammy – well, how can I be used of You .. I want to be a part of this evangelistic harvest but all I am is just a mechanic.”
And the Lord spoke to him and He said, “Listen, I’ve given you that gift – I want you to use that gift to bring others to Christ.”
And he said, “But Lord, how can I do that?” And the Lord put it on his heart to start coming up to church on Saturday – to the church facility on Saturday mornings – and open it up to any widows and single mothers who need their cars worked on but don’t have the money to take it to a mechanic and for free, work on their cars and just share Jesus with them.
And he started a ministry at our church of just working on the cars of people who couldn’t afford it on Saturday mornings and then sharing Jesus with them. And he’s one of the greatest men I’ve ever met of leading others to Jesus Christ and God used him in a great way – and the Lord just spoke to my heart and said: “That’s what revival is.”
That’s when every single person sees that Lord, you can use me – I’m a part of your body – I want to be used of You. And revival comes when not just one superstar comes to town and preaches – and by the way, there’s nothing wrong with having someone who’s gifted in speaking .. that’s what I do for my life but we must understand it takes the whole body of Christ.
And one of the things that we’ve done in our ministry is before we go in and do any kind of evangelistic outreach .. is we want the body of Christ – Christians to say, “I can be a part of this .. God wants to use me .. I can reach others for Christ.”
And I’ll tell you something .. there are people that Jerry, my friend, my mechanic friend .. there are people that he could reach that I could never reach — that would never even come to hear me speak .. but he sees them every, single day.
And so I want you to do this .. think about, who is it that you can reach for Christ? What has God placed in your life .. what is it that God can use in your life? God wants to use you in reaching others for Christ and a part of revival is seeing that you are a part of God’s plan .. you’re God’s resource. You are the person that God wants to use .. and not only you but your friends and your other brothers and sisters in Christ in the church that you attend.
God wants to use each one of you to send revival to reach others for Christ
