Sammy Tippit Ministries recently conducted a leadership conference among Armenian Christians of all denominations. Tippit brought a series of messages on "Running with Endurance" to those in attendance. He spoke on a Sunday afternoon to pastors from Yerevan. Pastors and leaders came from every denominational background, both Protestant and the Apostolic (Orthodox) Churches. He challenged the leaders to run to their full potential the race that God had called them to run.

Robin Hood would have been puzzled. John Wesley would have smiled, and George Whitefield would have shouted “Amen” when Sammy Tippit preached in the old stomping grounds of Nottingham’s famous “friend of the poor.” What was once the forests where the famed “friend of the poor” did his business became the home of the proclamation of the gospel to the Persian people.
